4th of July and other summer things

These first ones are just ones of Kate I took a little while back. She loves to play under our kitchen table :)

Look up, then look down. That is how fast a baby girl's emotions change ;)

 And we're smiling again :)

These next ones are from our 4th of July. We had such a fun day! I always say every year that I want to do a lot to celebrate Independence Day and it always seems to pass without any official plans besides watching the fireworks. This year was different and it was so fun! My sister Julie was with us and we had a full day! We started the day with a special breakfast. I was pretty proud of myself for that cute french toast flag :)

After breakfast we went to the pool at the new rec center in Provo. We got there right after it opened and it was not even crowded! So awesome! I didn't take my camera there but we had a blast!

Next, we showered and took naps, then got ready for our family bbq at Heidi and David's with my sister's families. Also awesome. All the food was so good and we had so much fun just catching up and hanging out and laughing at the babies. Kate just loved this little water fountain. She splashed in it forever!

Love these next two pictures so much :)

We made these adorable flag shirts for the babies and attempted to take pictures. As with all of our previous holiday pictures...well you can see how these things tend to go. :)

Lastly, it was back down to Provo for fireworks! We camped out at the MTC field to watch the Stadium of Fire fireworks. Perfect way to end the day!

These last pictures are from another bbq on Saturday with the Allens.
Getting together with family is the best thing!

Prettiest summer dessert!

We are definitely loving summer!
