Baby girl, you are one year old today! Technically, still around 4 hours away from being one, but y'know. What an amazing day. It was life changing for me. Becoming your mother showed me a strength I never knew I had in me. The day you were born set the stage for all the new experiences this past year gave us. This time one year ago I was so anxious to meet you and now I can't remember never having known you. Thank you for everything you have brought to our family. I don't think a day has gone by in your short life that you haven't smiled. You truly are our sunshine. Thank you for your love, your patience, and your forgiveness. I can't remember who said this but I'll say it to you: "Nothing you could do could make me love you any more. Nothing you could do could make me love you any less."
