Anyway, so this class is great! This guy is HILARIOUS. He was an elementary school teacher himself and he already had some funny stories to tell. Here's my favorite. There was a boy in his 6th grade class who was presenting on Abraham Lincoln and was super nervous. He gets up and starts with, "Abraham Lincoln was born in a log cabin...that he built with his own two hands." Hahaha! Our professor said he just lost it at the back of the classroom. Ha, those stories always motivate me in my education/profession, maybe just as much as the inspirational/what-a-difference-you-will-make stories. In short, my excitement for this major was re-awakened today. Love it.

good class
One of my classes this semester is awesome I can already tell! My professor is awesome! And he is a he, which I personally prefer. I admit, I'm totally biased against my own sex when it comes to professors. Male professors are just better. Anyway, it's a "teaching writing and reading" type class so one of the assignments is to consistently write and read during the semester. Blogging counts! So, yes folks, I am not wasting time, I am fulfilling a homework assignment. There.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers Male profs. Actually looking back I only had 1 female prof I really liked... sad days. Glad you like your class so much!

ReplyDeleteI like male professors too, but do you remember our Humanities Prof? I loved her! I remember laughing so loud in class, and everybody kept looking back at me really ticked off :)
