Mini honeymoon repeats

So yesterday our sister (technically my sister-in-law, but I just say sister) Christy married Adam. It was such a wonderful day and I plan to steal pictures from others who had cameras later. I would just describe the day as very happy, exactly as it should be. Both Chance and I started feeling sentimental about our wedding day and wishing we could relive it. It was funny because as Christy and Adam took off for the honeymoon I thought, "Aw, I'm jealous! I want to have a fun honeymoon again!" and later Chance told me he was having the exact same thought, haha! We definitely plan to have a fun mini-vacation for our one year anniversary which is basically 3 months away! Weird. Time really is weird. But for now, I'm wondering what fun summer dates anyone has! Spring term has been a bit hectic for Chance and I and we are ready for some fun. So what do you do when you are looking for some fun on a date?

  1. We don't do it often enough, but my husband and I really enjoy going hiking during the summer. And sometimes even something as simple as walking to a park that's nearby or to the Italian Ice shop not too far from our house. It just feels good to be outside and it gives me a chance to hold his hand and chat about our day.

  2. Haha this reminds me of that primary song "oh what do you do in the summertime when all the world is green?"

Also, you should come to my wedding reception on August 6! That's what you do in the summertime! Thanks for your address, by the way :)

  3. You're so cute! Sometimes an afternoon getaway to someplace like SLC or Park City is nice because you feel like you've gone away for the day but you can still come home to your apartment so you don't spend money on a hotel.
