Mi esposo

I am so proud of Chance. Guess what he did? He was chosen for an internship being a Spanish translator at the hospital. I was proud of him right when we found out he got chosen but then last night I read an email he got that said "please confirm your acceptance by May 1 as there are 130 other volunteers who are waiting to get in to this program." 130. Chance was chosen before 130 others. I was like, "130?? That's crazy! And you got it!" Maybe it is a good thing we didn't know how competitive it was when he was applying, haha, as far as being nervous. He went to his first training today and I am so excited for him. I guess all the tough times of only having native companions on his mission in the beginning really paid off :). I remember him writing, "I just don't understand anything they are saying." I guess he was thrown into the fire then but now he is getting the benefits of it! I hope he loves doing this!
