Chance turned 24 on Tuesday! We had an awesome day with cinnamon rolls for breakfast, a family walk, and a movie date night, complete with Chick-fil-A for dinner-Chance's favorite-and ice cream sundaes for dessert (I highly recommend Jack Reacher. I don't really like Tom Cruise but I really liked this movie!). How awesome is this, I took work off to go out with Chance and while we were out, my boss babysat Kate. Yeah, I have a pretty nice job.
Kate loved the frosting on the cinnamon rolls! And thought Chance's candy was hers.
Can you tell Kate loves walks? She will just smile and giggle the whole time.
It was such a great, relaxing day in the middle of Chance's stressful midterm week. We love you Chance, Happy Birthday!!!!!
On a not-birthday-related note, here is Kate. She can't crawl yet, but can scoot and roll herself into all kinds of fun places :)
She likes it for a minute then gets all mad, like, "Who the heck put me here?? I did not sign up for this!" I love it when her dramatic side comes out. I'm sure it will annoy me one day, but right now it just makes me laugh a lot.
I KNEW Tuesday was Chance's birthday and I forgot to text you :( I even text Jake and said I am pretty sure today is Chance's birthday, but he didn't know. Shocker right? HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHANCE! We love you! We will celebrate soon. By the way our closing on our house got pushed back 3 weeks so we can get together now!
