Just a random post

I feel like I haven't written in a while and that's because, really, my life hasn't had a ton of crazy stuff happening lately. Mainly because 8 credits in Spring semester is sucking it all out of me! Two weeks and two days left of school!!! (Well, until the fall ;)) Oh, and finals. But who counts those, really? Not me. I've been doing good though! Here's some fun pictures from when my wonderful friend KayAnna and I hiked the Y :) It was so beautiful and so much fun!

As you can tell, we have a good time together :) I'm so lucky to have KayAnna in my life! Thinking of people I'm grateful for reminds me of people I am missing in my life! I really miss my parents and Julie, and can't wait to see them in 3 1/2 weeks! I miss Emily and Stephen but I am happy he got an awesome internship! I miss my co-workers at work who are gone for the summer! Get your butts back here! I miss my family in Ukraine....oh man do I miss them. Here's some pictures Lyuda sent me recently!!!

 Aren't they beautiful?

I sure do miss Chance. Speaking of, here's a recent picture of him, that is maybe my favorite ever.

All this missing makes me realize...maybe missing people is a blessing in disguise. It emphasizes to you how much you love and need the people who are most important to you. In a way, I think it brings you closer to Heavenly Father, here's why. God is a god of emotion and passion. So I love emotions, because for me, they kind of teach me more about my Heavenly Father. So yes, "missing" isn't the greatest emotion. But I don't think it's all bad. Heavenly Father sure knows this emotion. I'm sure he misses us, his children, so much!

Just a little more update. I did a 5k with Heidi yesterday! We walked it together because she is pregnant and it was so much fun! I was laughing the whole way. Heidi always says "Man, I'm so big!" But I really do consider her the "hot mom." Maybe as her sister, some of those genes will rub off on me :) Hope so.

On a tangent, I love sprinklers. The other day while running, these sprinklers went off at the perfect time just for me! I probably looked so funny to cars passing, like a little kid at a surprise birthday party! I love it. I used to sometimes think, "Man, I'm gonna get all wet!" but then I realized that's the point and plus, water dries. Now I love it, haha!

Take care everybody, whatever you're doing!
